Hierdie halfmaan tafeltjie met uitgekerfde leeupote van stinkhout, waarvan die blad van mahoniehout gemaak is, was deel van die troumeubels van a2.b7.c8. Olivier Johannes Gerhardus Cornelis Henning, gebore 1 Desember 1834. Hy en sy vrou Cornelia Susanna Kotzé * 1-8-1839 is op 14 Januarie 1856 te Burgersdorp getroud, omdat dit die naaste kerk in daardie dae aan Damfontein was. Die tafeltjie het in die ou Damfontein opstal gestaan totdat sy skoondogter Magdalena Maria Daisy Henning (noemnaam Daisy) gedurende die 1950’s by haar dogter, Gladys Truter (a2.b7.c8.d8.e6.) in die dorp Aliwal-Noord gaan woon het. Gladys en haar seun Theo Truter het die tafeltjie daarna opeenvolgend geërf, waarna a2.b7.c8.d8.e3.f4. Olivier Henning, Bondsekretaris van die Henning Familiebond dit gedurende die 1990’s by Theo gekoop het.

This semicircle table with carved out lion paws of stinkwood, with top made from mahogany was part of the marriage furniture of a2.b7.c8. Olivier Johannes Gerhardus Cornelis Henning, born 1 December 1834. He and his wife, Cornelia Susanna (born Kotzé) born 1-8-1839 were married on 14 January 1856 at Burgersdorp – this being the nearest church to the farm Damfontein in those days. The table was used in the old Damfontein homestead until Olivier’s daughter in law, Magdalena Maria Daisy Henning (born Beeton) moved to the town Aliwal North to live with her daughter, Gladys Truter (a2.b7.c8.d8.e6.). Gladys and her son, Theo Truter inherited the table after each other and in the 1990’s a2.b7.c8.d8.e3.f4. Olivier Henning, League Secretary of the Henning Family League bought the table from Theo.
