Flower stand and –pot which a2.b7.c8.d8. Olivier Johannes Henning *11-9-1869 bought between 1902 and 1918 for his wife Magdalena Maria Daisy (Daisy the name by which she was known). This stand and pot was part of a set of two flowering pots. The second pot unfortunately has gone missing. Both pots were used in the 1850 Damfontein homestead and later in the 1880 house. In the 1950’s when Daisy went to live with her daughter, Gladys Truter, Gladys inherited this pot and Daisy’s oldest daughter Enid Jacobs the second pot (which went missing). Gladys Truter bequeathed this pot in her will to Olivier Henning, son of her brother Leonard.
